Perfumer: Leif Peterson
Leif composes all fragrances for Nodus Perfume House using a hybrid process that blends classical perfumery with computational exploration.
He came to perfumery from science, after a career spent finding structure in complex data. Nodus started from one idea: the great forms of perfumery (chypre, fougère, amber, leather) work like a language, so they can be studied as well as spoken.
The collection has three parts:
- The Classics return to the foundational families: Ferus, Herbarius, Flora, Viridis, Amberis, Saxum, Atratus, Fructus.
- The Modern line reinterprets contemporary signatures: Glaciris, Mangaris, Osmantha, Pyraria, Jasmaris, Melcorium, Cacaonova, Salambra.
- The Experimental series tests a single idea taken to its limit.
Every Nodus fragrance is an Eau de Parfum at 20% concentration. Each one is composed, blended and evaluated by hand.
